About KWS
About the KWS
The upcoming season represents the next step in the orchestra’s return to its rightful place as a pillar of the Kitchener-Waterloo cultural community. It is impossible to overstate the contributions the players have made since September of 2023, taking on every role of governance, logistics, planning, and fundraising, while simultaneously sharing their astonishing craft and musicianship in series of brilliant concerts. They kept this ship afloat until reinforcements were found.
Our Musicians
From the soaring strings to the bold brass, the emotive woodwinds to the driving percussion, every member of the orchestra plays a vital role in creating a harmonious whole. Together, they form a collective heartbeat, uniting their instruments and voices to bring music to life in unforgettable ways.
Board of Directors and Staff
Guiding the vision and ensuring the success of our organization, our Board Members are dedicated leaders who bring diverse expertise and unwavering commitment. Their strategic oversight and passion for the arts empower us to achieve our mission and create lasting impact in our community.
